Gala Art Auction -- Thank You!!!

We at the Friends of the Arts want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out and supported the Mount Sinai music, theatre, and arts programs by attending our Gala Art Auction fundraiser, with a special thank you to everyone who purchased art.  We hope you had as good a time as we did and love all your new masterpieces!

It was incredibly successful and will go a long way towards supporting the many programs already lined up for next year.

Here's a letter from one of the attendees (she was kind enough to give us permission to post):

Dear FOA/Marlin Arts,

I simply wanted to let you know how much my husband and I enjoyed the Art Auction that was held at Willow Creek Golf and Country Club this month.  From the hors 'd oeuvres and the wine to the beautiful symphony that played, it was even better than I had anticipated. We purchased 5 pieces! The intent was only to purchase one or two, but thought the art that was shown and the value attached was more than worth the investment. It also made us feel good to give back to the art programs in our schools. I have been spreading the word for the people who did not attend that it is an event not to be missed.

We look forward to going next year. Thank you for an incredibly executed event.

                     Respectfully,

                              Priscilla Arena

We hope to see you again next time!
