Registration Open for Summer Programs

Registration is now open for our Summer Theatre Arts Program, Sounds of Summer Program, and Summer Sculpture Program.  This year the Elementary School will be performing Disney's Cinderella Kids, the Middle School will be performing Willy Wonka Junior, and the High School will be performing Once Upon a Mattress.  Links to the registration forms are on the right sidebar.

Therefore,  we have changed the date of our next Gala Art auction.  The auction will be held on
May 8th 2015 at the beautiful Hamlet in our own Mt. Sinai.

We are looking forward to another successful Art Auction and Fundraising year. Thank you families, friends and businesses of the Mt. Sinai School District.  Your continued support enhances our Art,  Music , and Theatre programs.

DISNEY PIN TRADING!

We will be having what we hope to be our biggest pin trading party of the year on April 4th in the high school cafeteria from 5:30 until the variety show starts and also at intermission.  Come stock up on pins before your Spring Break vacation!  We will be having an Animation Academy style drawing competition.  Will you draw the best Mickey Mouse for your age group (including an Adults category)?  Winners get a limited edition pin!

Theatre Tickets On Sale Now!

Christmas Carol – join the Friends of the Arts on Friday, December 6th for this annual family favorite performed at Theater Three in Port Jefferson. Your ticket provides you with lite fare and soft drinks beginning at 6:45 in the private room downstairs before the play, and of course a seat for The Christmas Carol at 8:00PM.  Save this date:   Christmas Carol – Friday, December  6:45PM (performance begins at 8PM)

Barnaby Saves Christmas - join the Friends of the Arts on Saturday, December 14th for this annual family favorite for the eight and under crowd performed at Theater Three in Port Jefferson. Your ticket gives you access to lite fare and beverages (and coffee for the parents!) beginning at 10am in the private downstairs room and of course the adorable play beginning at 11:00am.  We’ll have Disney pins available for purchase and trading opportunities if you bring your pins to trade with others.  Save this date: Barnaby Saves Christmas - join the Friends of the Arts on Saturday, December 14th

11/22 for Christmas Carol and 11/26 for Barnaby Saves Christmas. 

The Friends of the Arts presents the Holiday Boutique

Christmas and Hanukkah Gifts are available for siblings, parents, grandparents and pets. Elementary School students will attend the boutique along with classmates. Middle School students can shop during lunch hours Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday December 3rd, 4th or 5th. Please make checks payable to the Friends of the Arts.

Funds raised will help to enhance the art, music and theater programs in the Mount Sinai School District. Thank you in advance for your support!
